At Oregon State University

I started my undergraduate degree at Oregon State University (OSU) as a Horticulture major Fall 2020 via remote synschronous learning. It was not until the following year where I got experience in-person classes Fall 2021. Realizing the need to broaden my foundational knowledge of Agriculture, I changed my major to Agricultural Sciences where I had the opportunity to build a concrete understanding of Agriculture across the plethora of apsects under the diverse Agricultural Industry.

Moving forward, I still pursued earning a minor in Horticulture and during the next two years of undergrad switched to focus on coursework in Agricultural Education and Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources Communications (ASNRC) where I can apply my knowledge to teach others about Agriculture. Application of coursework includes effective and strategic communications of Agriculture, producing high quality educational content, and teaching through formal and non-formal Agricultural Education practices.

As of Winter 2024 (January), I started undergraduate research in ASNRC under the supervision of Dr. Whitney Stone and collaborating with one of my fellow peers to complete projects for a local farm producing Certified Organic Produce as our client to increase communications. For upcoming updates, see ASNRC Research under Academic Work to see our progress and my involvement in the project.
